EU EQUIVALENT

Green Caucasus Standard is a public document according to ISO 17065 as proof of transparency of the Green Caucasus certification system. “Green Caucasus” Standard is the intellectual property of and trademark owned by “ECOGLOBE” LLC. 

This Standard is a regular subject of assessment of its equivalence with the EU organic legislation, and recognition by the Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance and RA Ministry of Agriculture. The Standard contains the desired requirement for producers to operate an Organic Management System based on the Plan, Do, Check, Review cycle. Organic certification can only be applicable to the aspects of Organic production covered in this Standard.

The Standard is revised according to changes in European organic legislation and RA Law about Organic Agriculture. 

Products certified according to “Green Caucasus” standard may be marketed as “Organic“, “Eco“, “Bio” (or other) on European Union, Switzerland, Armenian and other markets.
